 The Getaway Lodge features chef's table dining for a gourmet breakfast named Best-in-the-Midwest. The innkeeper welcomes guests to come out and visit as the meal is prepared.

FRIDAY EVENING---
After all have arrived, relax and start the weekend with a
Champagne & Dessert reception provided by innkeeper as
you all get ready for Saturday cooking feast.
SATURDAY---
Start the day with gourmet breakfast served by innkeeper;
10am-5pm share cooking demos with one another along with
some sample tasting in the spacious Timeaway Lodge kitchen;
After 5pm the women get pretty and the men get handsome
while the innkeepers put on the dining glitz and serve up
your culinary achievements with a memorable candlelight dinner.
SUNDAY MORNING---
Enjoy gourmet breakfast as you vote for best cooks demo
& recipe; "Best-of-Weekend" certificate awarded.

ACCORDING TO WIKIPEDIA---

    A chef's table is a table located in the kitchen of a restaurant reserved for VIP tasting menu and special guests. Patrons are usually served by the head chef. Restaurants usually require a minimum party and charge a flat fee per person. Chef's tables are provided only by top-rated restaurants and are often available only by specific invitation.
    Chef's tables are located either in, or adjoining, the kitchen where diners may feel like they are part of the creative cooking action. The concept is as old as dining itself.  Once-upon-a-time we all (unless we were the lords of the manor) sat in the kitchen to eat.  That's before we grew up, or gentrified, and migrated to the dining room.  Over time, restaurants followed suit moving diners away from the commercial kitchen...And from the fun.

cook's package policy

1.  Group leader collects recipes and determines demo menu.
2.  Usual cookware-bakeware-dishes-utensils provided at B&B.
3.  Recipe ingredients & specialty utensils or cookware
     responsibility of group.
4.  Innkeeper will do any food shopping requested as long as
     grocery list provided minimum 48 hours in advance. It is
     assumed group will reimburse cost.
5.  Certificate awarded for best demo & best recipe.
6.  Certificates awarded by participant blind vote.
7.  Participation assumes permission for future recipe
     publication with provider byline credit.
8.  No refund within 30 days prior to arrival.
Chef's Table dining is $100 per person+beverage/tax/tip.
It is paid at restaurant by guest.

to your table.  You bypass all the other diners seated in cozy
groups in the main room.  You pass the bar, a private room
